While Waikiki is known as a tourist destination, this spot offers a quiet time that makes you forget the hustle and bustle. Just listening to the sound of the waves and gazing up at the orange-hued sky, I felt my heart slowly unwind.

What I want to convey through my work is not just beautiful scenery. It's the wind and light that sweep through the place, the passage of time, and the comfort created by the Aloha spirit.

I hope this single image brings you a moment where you feel like taking a deep breath amidst your busy daily life, allowing you to experience a Hawaiian sunset from the comfort of your room.

I'm Kai from Aloha Canvas. "Kai" means "sea" in Hawaiian.

For me, Hawaii is a second home. Through more than 30 trips, I've been drawn not just to the beautiful scenery, but even more so to the rhythm of life on the islands, the warmth of the people, and their spirit of living in harmony with nature.

What I want to paint is not just the landscape itself. I infuse each piece with the entire atmosphere of that moment—the blowing wind, the pouring light, the sound of the waves.

At the heart of my creation is the aloha spirit, which values compassion, gratitude, and harmony with nature. My concept is "Bring Hawaii Home."

There would be nothing that would make me happier than to be able to deliver moments where, each time you display or gift a piece, you feel the Hawaiian wind, light, and aloha spirit close at hand, and your heart gently unwinds.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
