Yatsugatake mountain range and the flow of stars

This is a long exposure photo of the Yatsugatake mountain range and Orion constellation taken around the time when it was possible to drive up the Norikura Skyline.
To photograph the autumn leaves, I climbed to the top of Norikura Skyline, slept in my car, and endured the bitter cold to take this photograph, taking a long exposure of one hour, a shot I took with great conviction.
The world below was greenish due to the mercury lamps, and the sky was clear and adorned with countless stars. The Orion constellation stood out in all its glory.

Toru Sugawa

Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1957.
His love for drawing changed to photography after graduating from high school.
His life theme is to take picturesque landscape photographs.
In his 30s, he worked at a commercial studio, where he learned how to handle light and has since applied this knowledge to his landscape and nature photography.
He takes up his camera with the desire to take landscape and nature photographs that bring joy to the soul and contribute to the happiness of those who see them, as humans are also a part of nature.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
