Summer Colors

Early summer at the relatively famous Sekiyama Falls in Yamagata Prefecture.

I don't like taking the same photos as other people.

I kept searching for a unique composition and this is what I came up with.

The waterfall, enveloped in the vibrant colors of early summer, was truly beautiful, and it really made me feel like "summer has begun."

Hiroto Takahashi

Born in 2001, he is 22 years old. He was born with a heart condition and was unable to exercise from a young age, but he discovered photography when he entered junior high school.

Since then, he has continued to photograph natural landscapes in everyday life, and in 2023, he won first place in the world in the Intimate Landscape category at the Natural Landscape Photography Awards 2023, which had over 10,000 entries, beating out approximately 4,000 photos.
He is also an up-and-coming photographer whose work has been featured in the Fall 2023 issue of Photo Life and broadcast on YBC Yamagata Broadcasting, and has received numerous awards both domestically and internationally.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
