Early Spring and Tamagawa Sengen Shrine

This is a view of the sky from the grounds of Tamagawa Sengen Shrine on a clear evening in mid-January.

Beyond the gradient of vibrant crimson melting into deep indigo, the silhouette of Mt. Fuji stands静かに. And the shadows of people gazing as if cherishing that beautiful light.

The sky on this day, as I looked up with great anxiety and sorrow, was filled with a warmth that seemed to gently embrace everything.

The crisp, clear air that somehow calms the heart, and the enveloping evening light.

Wataru Kodachi

Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1983, currently residing in Akita City.

I am fascinated by fleeting scenes encountered during my travels and cycling excursions, and I capture them in photographs.

I particularly love gradients at dusk, tranquil seascapes and rural landscapes, and scenes that bring peace to the mind.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors.
