Backlit scenery of Amanohashidate

This piece was selected as the Excellence Award winner by the late Shotaro Akiyama, a judge at a magazine contest held by "Wonderful Nature" magazine about 40 years ago, and was published as a double-page spread in the B4 edition of the magazine.
I am currently searching for the magazine but it does not come up, so I will assume that it is out of print and list it for sale.
I am grateful that you returned the original copy after use.

I remember this photo being taken around 11:30 on a windy December day, using a Nikon F2 and 200mm lens from the observation deck at Kasamatsu Park on the north side of Amanohashidate.
As the strong wind blew clouds by, I felt something in my heart and pressed the shutter; in other words, I consider this photo to be one that God allowed me to take.
This work was created using Kodachrome, which faithfully reproduces primary colors.
It looks monochrome, but it's a color photo.
