A person in a canoe heading offshore

When I visited Hayama, the sun was directly above the silhouette of Mt. Fuji.
The sky and sea were dyed orange, and when I pointed my camera at the exquisite beauty, I noticed a person in a canoe (or perhaps a boat) quite far offshore, though I hadn't seen them with my naked eye.

They say "the path of the moon," but it looked as if the sun had created a path on the sea, leading straight towards Mt. Fuji.

I pressed the shutter, feeling a slight worry about whether they would be able to return.

MADOKA

When I was a child, I became interested in my father's camera, and I started taking pictures in junior high school.

About 20 years ago, I met a photographer at a sunflower field where I was shooting, and we connected on social media. That person asked me if I'd like to try a part-time job shooting school photos, which is how I started photographing kindergartens. A few years later, at the age of 50, I quit my office job and became a freelance photographer. In 2023, I registered my business under the name Sindyroomphoto, and I now primarily work on school photography.

In 2025, I anticipate working on around 140 projects and will be quite busy, but when I have free time, I immerse myself in nature to refresh and take landscape photos.

My dream is to take photos that heal people's hearts, and it would be an immense joy if my photos were displayed on someone's wall.
