Scenery of Minamiosumi Town, Kagoshima Prefecture

Clear streams flow down rapidly from the mountains of the granite belt directly into Kinko Bay.

Dead bamboo caught against the bridge piers has piled up, creating the perfect hideout for oriental river prawns.

Atelier Sekiryo

Born and raised in Kyushu. I love travel, fishing, mountains, rivers, the sea, the countryside, city life, people, and art.

I create portraits, landscapes, and other subjects using oil paints, watercolors, and CG.

I have been invited to join several art organizations over the years, but I have declined them all as I prefer to work at my own pace.

I am engaged in creative work throughout the year, including entries to open call exhibitions and various art shows.

Awards include the Prefectural Art Exhibition Governor's Award, Encouragement Prize, and Member's Award; the Kyushu Youth Art Exhibition Special Selection; the Minami-Nihon Art Exhibition Western-style Painting Division Excellence Award and Encouragement Prize; and numerous other awards in open call exhibitions.

My work has been selected for the Prefectural Traveling Exhibition of Outstanding Works (twice) and featured as an invited exhibit in exhibitions sponsored by local governments, corporations, and corporate museums.

Author's Works

A simple frame that enhances the picture

This frame is made from natural wood. The natural finish does not obscure the wood grain. The simple color and shape make the picture stand out. This is a classic frame that suits modern homes well. Developed in collaboration with a frame manufacturer. This is an Ayuwara original frame.

Frame color can be changed

The frame color will be the same as the artwork image. You can change it if you wish. You can choose from white, natural, brown, or black. If you have a preference, please write "XX frame desired" in the comments section when placing your order.
