On a journey

「Though I embark on a journey and walk endless roads through the wetlands, you are still in my thoughts.」

This sentiment is intertwined with the image of a boardwalk through a wetland, teeming with blooming flowers.

I've created this scene using a painting, a Japanese haiku, and an English haiku.

I emphasized the contrast between the desolate, earnest feelings of travel and the "loneliness" of the journey, and the warmth of a heart filled with "you," by highlighting the boardwalk that stretches through a wetland carpeted with yellow flowers.

i think of you still
