White petals dancing in the winter sky

The heavy snow that envelops Hirosaki Castle in Aomori Prefecture looks just like cherry blossoms in full bloom in the middle of winter, fluttering down like petals.

Each snowflake shining in the soft light lights up the night sky like the melody of love, lighting a quiet warmth in the hearts of all who visit.

This sight, often compared to the cherry blossoms of spring, speaks of a timeless romance as a fantastical snowstorm of blossoms that can only be seen in winter.

Especially on New Year's Eve, the silvery white world that envelops the castle reflects both the tranquility of the end of the year and the hope of welcoming a new era.

The cherry blossom petals woven by the snow seem to gently send off the days that have passed, while sending prayers for the future that is yet to come into the sky.

Tomo-san

Born in Tokyo in 1968.
Ever since I was little, I have loved looking at beautiful scenery and the sky. I especially enjoy taking photos of the sky at dusk and clouds, which have fun changing shapes and light.

Whenever I go out, my smartphone is always my companion. I enjoy capturing beautiful scenery that I happen to see on the spot.

Recently, I have been fascinated by kimonos, and I spend my days searching for moments where the Japanese atmosphere and natural scenery blend in harmony.
I hope to be able to deliver memorable scenes that can be found in the midst of everyday life.
