Fragments of lost memories dance in the wisteria rain.

"Fuji Musume" dances under the fantastical purple wisteria.

It was a graduation performance.
It was a dance to celebrate my daughter's departure, but I only have one photo left. It brought back dormant memories and reminded me of the large wisteria at Ashikaga Flower Park, one of the most beautiful in Japan.

The falling wisteria flowers represent the efforts made up to now, blessings, and the scattered fragments of memories.

This is an important piece that captures the splendor of the time, with the kimono patterns and dancing poses intact.

Aya Mitsusai

Born in 1968 in downtown Tokyo. Currently living in Saitama. As a child, I grew up in a densely built-up area near paper mills and housing complexes, and had no interest in the scenery. The sky peeking through the gaps in the buildings seemed gray, small, and a very narrow world. It was only after moving to a rural town that I was moved for the first time by the vastness of the sky and the beauty of its changing scenery. Since then, I have wanted to share the beautiful scenery of the four seasons, such as cherry blossoms, rice ears, cosmos, and snow-capped Mount Fuji, with the people I care about, and I have been capturing them in photographs.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture.
