Walking path along the embankment

Naoe Stone Levee in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, is said to have been built under the command of Naoe Kanetsugu, who also became the protagonist of a historical drama. Part of the stone levee still remains today, and it has become Naoe Levee Park. I happened to take this photo when I visited there.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
