祝福のダブルレインボー

ハワイ・オアフ島ノースショア、サンセットビーチを見下ろす「ピルボックス」から撮影した一枚です。

急な坂道を登った先に広がっていたのは、青く澄み渡る太平洋と、その海を優しく包み込むように架かった美しいダブルレインボーでした。

ハワイでは虹はとても身近な存在であり、「幸運の象徴」や「神様からの祝福」として親しまれています。中でもダブルレインボーは、幸せが重なる特別な虹として、多くの人に愛されています。

ノースショアならではの雄大な自然、エメラルドブルーの海、そして空と海をつなぐ虹が織りなす光景は、まるで自然から贈られた一瞬のアートのようでした。

この作品には、ハワイの壮大な自然がもたらす感動と、心が晴れ渡るような穏やかな時間を閉じ込めています。

私にとってハワイは、第二のふるさと。30回を超える旅を重ねる中で、美しい景色以上に、島に流れる時間や人の温かさ、自然とともに生きる心に惹かれてきました。

描きたいのは、風景そのものではありません。吹き抜ける風、降りそそぐ光、波の音——その瞬間の空気ごと、一枚の作品に込めています。

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
