Cat face

Two years ago, I entered my digitally drawn "Cat's Face" in the design category at a public art exhibition at a certain city art museum, and it won the City Council Chairman's Award.

This year (2024), a company is hosting a panel and postcard exhibition at an Animal Festival event in a bookstore in Los Angeles, USA, and this work will be exhibited on a panel.I have never been overseas with my own work, but my work alone will be exhibited overseas!

Nice to meet you. My name is Todo.
Born in 1970

He has loved painting and illustration since he was a child, and while working in the logistics industry and for a small and medium-sized trading company, he studied illustration design through a correspondence course at Kodansha Famous Schools, and held a solo exhibition at Ono Gallery in Ginza around 2005.

In 2013, he began vocational training in web design, learning Illustrator, Photoshop, DreamWeaver, etc., and also created a portfolio site for his own work.
I was also personally asked to create an illustration featuring realistic animal eyes for a crowdsourcing service site to select my work, and I worked on it.

I also received requests from my previous employer to design car coating agents, posters, and modify logos, and I then received requests from a family acquaintance to create a pamphlet for small animal experiment restraint devices.

Since around 1995, several of his works have been selected for the "Painting Japanese Nature" exhibition at the Ueno Royal Museum.

In 2008 and 2014, he was responsible for illustrating a certain local welfare planning booklet.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
