A single Edohigan cherry tree in Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and Mount Fuji

The solitary cherry tree is estimated to be about 330 years old, a magnificent Edohigan cherry tree with a trunk circumference of 3.6 meters and a height of 17 meters. In early April, we were able to photograph the "Wanizuka Solitary Cherry Tree" in full bloom and "Mount Fuji with Remaining Snow."
The cherry blossoms at this crocodile mound have been designated as a natural monument of Nirasaki City.

In the 1980s, I bought my first SLR camera, a NIKON EM, as a hobby, and since then I have switched from film to digital cameras, but I still mainly photograph landscapes.

Once a year I hold a group exhibition with my photography friends.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
