A maple tree laden with blossoms

Until about five years ago, I didn't know that maple trees bloomed.
I wonder if many people, like me, aren't usually aware of maple blossoms.

Even after learning about them, I rarely saw them. Then, by chance, when I went to photograph wisteria, I noticed a single maple tree in the park that was remarkably red.

There were many other maple trees around it, but only that one was covered in a profusion of flowers.

When I looked it up after returning home, I learned that the red parts contain seeds, which fall with the leaves during autumn and are carried by the wind. They are shaped like boomerangs to help them travel further.

From a distance, they looked like pink hearts and were quite cute, so I took many pictures.

MADOKA

When I was a child, I became interested in my father's camera and started taking pictures in junior high school.

About 20 years ago, while on a photography trip to a sunflower field, I met a photographer and we connected on social media. They asked me if I'd be interested in doing some school photography as a part-time job, and that's how I started photographing kindergartens. A few years later, at the age of 50, I quit my office job to become a freelance photographer. In 2023, I registered my business under the name "Sindyroomphoto," and I now primarily work on school photography.

In 2025, I anticipate handling around 140 projects, keeping me quite busy. However, when I have free time, I immerse myself in nature to refresh myself and take landscape photos.

My dream is to take photos that heal people's hearts, and it would be the greatest joy if one of my photos could be displayed on someone's wall.

How to choose the color of a picture frame

We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
