Snow Palette 16-3 Winter Outdoor Art
Snow Pallet, a winter land art project, is a site-specific art piece for "winter memories" centered around Sapporo, a city of 1.9 million people where annual snowfall reaches 6 meters. Snow Pallet is an installation in which fluorescent paint coated on the back of the objects reflects the snow, revealing vibrant colors on the snow surface. The multiple objects, each of which is of a different height, change scenery depending on the sunlight and amount of snowfall. The shapes of the accumulated snow vary depending on the installation location, the scenery changes over the approximately four months from the first snowfall to the melting snow, the colors that appear over the course of a day, and the colors that change with the weather. Since its launch in 2011, the amount of snowfall has been decreasing year by year. Furthermore, sudden periods of heavy snowfall or light snowfall, which were recorded over several decades, are occurring more frequently in short cycles. These phenomena are likely the result of global warming and abnormal weather. Where is the Earth headed as environmental destruction progresses? Can environmental destruction provide a path to environmental improvement, addressing the greatest challenge in human history? It serves as an antithesis to the memory of the beautiful winter scenery of the Snow Palette.

Snow Pallet is an installation project created to commemorate winter memories. The fluorescent paint on the back of the objects reflects the snow, creating vibrant colors on the surface. Committed to quality
A work planned, produced and sold by Ayuwara. Made with high-quality art paper that feels like drawing paper. Rich color reproduction allows delicate colors to be faithfully reproduced. It is not photographic paper, giving it a mysterious impression that makes you wonder whether it is a painting or a photograph. The paper is not glossy and does not reflect light, so fluorescent light does not make the work difficult to see. We also paid particular attention to color reproduction. Color adjustments can be made precisely using the latest technology. Each piece is produced using digital printing, which allows for accurate color reproduction. Quality is checked, and those that pass are embossed with Ayuwara's seal to complete the work.
A simple frame that enhances the picture
This frame is made from natural wood. The natural finish does not obscure the wood grain. The simple color and shape make the picture stand out. This is a classic frame that suits modern homes well. Developed in collaboration with a frame manufacturer. This is an Ayuwara original frame.
Frame color can be changed
The frame color will be the same as the artwork image. You can change it if you wish. You can choose from white, natural, brown, or black. If you have a preference, please write "XX frame desired" in the comments section when placing your order.
How to choose the color of a picture frame
We are often asked, "What color is best for a picture frame?" There are two ways to choose. The first is to choose a frame that matches the picture. Darker pictures should be paired with darker frames, and lighter pictures with lighter frames. A white frame is recommended for cooler colors, and a natural frame for warmer colors. The second is to choose a frame that matches the color of the room. Choose a frame color that matches the color of the floor and furniture. If the room is decorated with white floors and furniture, choose a white frame; if the floors and furniture are natural, choose a natural frame; if the floors and furniture are dark, choose a brown frame; and if the room is monochromatic, choose a black frame.
